Creating an Animation Making your own animated effects couldn't be easier. Select an emitter (effect) from the Library Window by clicking with your mouse and place it on the Stage... and that's it! (Ok, that's far from 'it', but it really is that simple). When you select your emitter from the library, you will see an animated version of it in the Preview Window. You can click and move your mouse around in the preview window to see how the emitter behaves as it moves in real time. To move the emitter over time within your animation project, you simply need to move to a frame further along the timeline by dragging in the Graph Window or by playing and stopping the animation with the media controls, and then repositioning the emitter on the Stage. Rewind and play your project to see the movement in real time. By building up a series of points along the timeline, you can produce complex motion for your effects. An even cooler method of recording motion paths is to do it in real-time as the animation plays through. Whatever path you drag with your mouse is the route the emitter will take! You can control and customise every aspect of your special effects. You can even use your own images or text as emitters, giving you incredible creative power! Create an animation with your company logo, or a picture of your face! You can even use an AVI or series of images to create animated particles. Once you have chosen your emitter, you can alter just about every aspect of it's behaviour to create completely new and original effects - you can then change most of the emitter's properties from the main workspace and see the results in real time. If you want to change a more low-level property you can access a properties dialog for the emitter with access to ALL properties of the effects ... and still see a realtime preview.
