This 'laser cut' animation (224kb) was created solely in particleIllusion using our own custom emitters
A similar but much more complex 'laser cut' (307kb) ... a green guide laser traces the path for the red laser to cut, sparks and shards fly as the metal is cut, ringlets of smoke rising as it burns... and all done in particleIllusion!
A cool logo effect (272kb) achieved with a single emitter...
A sort of blackhole kind of thing (284kb)... just a single emitter sitting doing it's thing, but very cool none the less!
A cool spinning abstract art eye kind of thing. (426 kb)
An example using a simple animated particle as an emitter (168kb).
A five second clip (293kb) of a full scene we're working on... the scenery is a photograph, the figure rendered, and the effects are of course done with particleIllusion!
A very graceful n pretty pattern (694kb).
A very silly animation from an original cartoon (333kb) using blockers on serveral layers to achieve a 3D effect
An attempt at recreating a wormholes event horizon ;-)  (375kb)

It seemed their approach had angered the beast.
"Whee! These July 4th Celebrations get better every year, don't they?"
'It's just tea... honestly!'
"Well I don't recall it ever doing that before."
The computer industry was about to suffer a minor setback
